Privacy Policy

How we handle information on this website and in the SubdiGate product. Last updated 18 August 2026.

Effective 18 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SubdiGate collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit subdigate.com, request a demo, or use the SubdiGate software (the Android guard app and the web administrator dashboard).

Who we are

SubdiGate operates the website at https://subdigate.com and the SubdiGate gate-management service. For privacy questions, email support@subdigate.com.

SubdiGate is built for communities and facilities in the Philippines. We treat personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

Information we collect on this website

If you request a demo or contact us, we collect the details you submit: name, organization or community, email address, phone number, location, number of gates, approximate vehicle count, current gate process, and your message.

We use that information only to respond to your request, qualify whether SubdiGate is a fit, and follow up about a demo or account setup.

This marketing website does not use advertising cookies or a third-party analytics vendor. The hosting provider (Amazon Web Services / CloudFront) may process standard request logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site.

Information processed in the SubdiGate product

When a community or facility uses SubdiGate, the customer’s authorized users enter and generate operational records. That typically includes: account names and email addresses; guard and administrator logins; gate and device names; member or resident identifiers; registered vehicle plate numbers and vehicle details; visitor records and any resident association the guard records; and gate events (plate, direction IN or OUT, time, gate, and related status).

The customer (the HOA, barangay, parking operator, or facility) decides what to record and who may access it. SubdiGate processes that information to provide the service: identify vehicles at the gate, store searchable history, show live activity, and produce reports the customer enables.

Guards may capture plate text on an Android device. Identification happens on the device. The cloud stores the resulting event data (and any snapshot the product is configured to keep), not a continuous video stream.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the service, create and administer tenant accounts, provide support, bill according to the chosen plan, improve reliability, and communicate about the account or a demo request.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use gate history for advertising. We do not make vehicle or visitor records publicly searchable.

Sharing

We share information with subprocessors that host and run the service, currently Amazon Web Services for infrastructure in the regions we deploy. Those providers process data on our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of the service, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

Each customer’s records are scoped to that customer’s tenant. Other communities cannot see them. SubdiGate personnel access customer data only as needed for support, operations, or security, and such access is intended to be auditable.

Retention

Demo and contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting commercial relationship.

Product records (vehicles, visitors, gate events, users) are retained for the life of the customer account and according to any retention settings available in the product. If an account is closed, we delete or de-identify associated records within a reasonable period unless a longer period is required by law or a legitimate dispute.

Security

Access to the product requires authentication. The guard app and the administrator dashboard are separate sign-in experiences. Traffic to the service is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We work to protect information with standard cloud controls, but we do not claim ISO, SOC 2, or similar certifications on this site.

Your rights

Depending on your role, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, or withdraw a demo request. Product users should first contact their community or facility administrator, who controls that tenant’s records.

You may also contact us at support@subdigate.com. If you are in the Philippines, you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.

Children

SubdiGate is a business and community operations service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the website or the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
